Storytelling

Rust is still growth, right?

OXIDE, a clothing brand with a fairly small creative group responsible for it, wanted a brand identity that reflected their process most of all. Using a combination of recycled fabrics and modern clothing designs, they create something original in the clothing world. To reflect this, we wanted to emphasize the "rust", or the growth that comes from stagnation or things forgotten. Gritty textures, bolded fonts, and sharp angular designs is the direction we chose. One challenge of these designs was that OXIDE wanted to make sure these assets were easily transferable to embroidery, their main process for creating clothing. OXIDE has grown since then, still using the graphics and identity that we helped curate. — Disclosure: Oxide is self-owned by RCG Creative; shown here as a case study for the brand-identity and merchandise pillars.

Logomark

Getting up.

Heavily inspired from graffiti designs, we knew a stylized script logo would be perfect for this application.

Merchandise

Avant Garde Attire

Embroidery, screen printing, painting, and appliquing are just some of the methods OXIDE uses for their merchandizing. We helped make sure no matter the form, our designs work.
